London singer-songwriter Rebecca Hollweg is about to release her 3rd album of original songs ‘Country Girl’ on 9th February 2015′.
Her first 2 albums (‘June Babies’ 2001 and ‘Orange Roses’ 2008) were both played a lot on national BBC Radio 2, and she has appeared live on many national radio programmes over the last 15 years.
Her voice and music are similar in style to the American James Taylor and like him she works with jazz musicians, some of the best in the UK.
Her husband Andy Hamill is also her producer and bass player. His work includes Laura Mvula, Natacha Atlas, Rumer, Kylie Minogue, Carleen Anderson, Mark Murphy and 4Hero and he plays often in Germany.
Rebecca has worked all over Great Britain in famous venues, from major festivals to large theatres and jazz clubs. She has worked in Germany, France, Holland and Greece.
As a support artist she has toured twice with Roger McGuinn of The Byrds and with Paul Carrack of Squeeze and Mike & the Mechanics.
